Big Lake Community Education Presents: "The SpongeBob Musical"

Big Lake Community Education is excited to present the spring production of "The SpongeBob Musical," which will run from April 25-27.

"The SpongeBob Musical" is a lively musical adaptation of the popular animated children's series, bringing all your favorite characters to life! When a looming volcanic eruption threatens Bikini Bottom, SpongeBob and his friends must come together to save their home. On the brink of disaster, an unexpected hero emerges, proving to residents and audiences alike that the power of optimism really can save the world!

Three performances of the show will be held at Big Lake High School auditorium throughout the weekend:

  • Friday, April 25 at 7 pm
  • Saturday, April 26 at 2 pm
  • Sunday, April 27 at 2 pm

Discounted presale ticket sales opens on March 19, and can be purchased online 19 at biglakece.com until April 23. Tickets can also be purchased for $1 extra at the door:

  • Adults: $9 presale ($10 at the door)
  • Under 18: $5 presale ($6 at the door)

"The SpongeBob Musical" is based on the series by Stephen Hillenburg and book by Kyle Jarrow. It is being presented by BLMS and BLHS theater students, led by director Samantha Glover, musical director Brie Hawkins, and set director Ashley Hemze.
